Scar Tissue Release

Scar tissue does not stay where the scar is. Whether from a surgery, an accident, or an injury that healed years ago, scar tissue changes the tension through the surrounding fascia, muscles, and nerve pathways. The body compensates for that restriction by loading other areas, which creates pain, tightness, and movement limitations that seem completely unrelated to the original event.

A C-section scar can contribute to lower back pain. A shoulder surgery scar can affect neck rotation years later. Abdominal surgery scars can alter hip and lower back mechanics.

Gentle, specific hands-on release can restore circulation, reduce the pull through the surrounding tissue, and give the nervous system new information about that area. Many clients notice immediate changes in mobility and comfort.

This work is appropriate for old and new scars, post-surgical recovery, and unresolved tension patterns anywhere in the body. Located in Lake Forest, serving all of Orange County.
